hi daniel san,

i would like to do a 1 day tour in kyoto starting from tokyo. my itinerary is as follows;

from tokyo to saga arashiyama station to see bamboo grove & tenryuji temple
from saga arashiyam station to inari station to see fushimi inari shrine
from inari station to kiyomizu-gojo station to see kiyomizu temple

i would like to visit the above places but i look at the time, it seems not realistic.

Maybe i should go to Osaka and stay 1 night for next day to Kyoto? maybe i will have more time for kyoto?

I would like to include the Nara Park as part of my trip to Osaka.

Would really appreciate your feedback! thanks!

Hi there,

It would indeed be a bit short time to fit all of this in a day, especially since most tourism places close around 5 p.m. You could do it if you depart early and set yourself on a schedule for each day.

You could also remove Kiyomizu dera or add it as optional if time allows. It is easy to reach by train from Fushimi Inari, so perhaps doable.

Otherwise, adding a day or two extra to see Kyoto is great.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
