Hi! I am cramming this short visit end of march 2018 and am wondering if I should get a jr pass.

Will be coming in through narita for a short 3-day visit. Hoping to get to Kyoto and Osaka if possible.

Hi there,

The cost of a 7 day JR Pass is about the same as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka. Even adding a return Tokyo - Narita Airport would already help you make savings. So it would definitely be an option to consider for your trip.
