Need help with my itinerary

Hello, I need help with my itinerary since this is my first time to Japan.
Tokyo-3 nights
Hakone-Mt. Fuji-2 nights
Kyoto-3 nights
Osaka-5 nights (Nara, Kobe and Universal Studio day trips)

Im debating if I should purchase the JR pass because I’m not sure if it will be worthy. I want to ask if I can travel around in Tokyo by subway and buses using the JR pass? Should I purchase the Hakone Fuji pass for the 3 days I spend in Hakone and Mt. Fuji?

Thank you.

Hi there,

A JR Pass does not look to be a good cost effective option here. For now I would advise buying normal tickets and look at using a Hakone Free pass if you plan to explore the Hakone Area.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
