Hi
We're planning to arrive in Kansai on 19th of March.
Here is a rough idea of our itinerary.
19/3 Arrive in Kansai. Stay in Osaka for 3 days.
20/3 Side trip to Kobe.
21/3 Travel to Kyoto. Stay 3 days in Kyoto.
22/3 Explore Kyoto
22/3 Day trip to Nara.
23/3 Kyoto
24/3 Kyoto to Tokyo. Stay in Tokyo for 7 days.
31/3 Head to Narita Airport.

Do you suggest the JR pass or buy individual tickets?

Thank you
Jenny

Hi there,

I would opt for individual tickets. Travel within Kansai is rather low cost. A JR Pass would be useful if you made a return Kansai - Tokyo or did some more travel with the Shinkansen. Such as a visit to Hiroshima.

Have a good trip!
Daniel
