Osaka to Echigo-Yuzawa

Hi! I have a family of 5 going to Osaka, Yuzawa then Tokyo next month. What Shinkansen can we take and will a JR Pass enable us to get to our various destinations? Thanks!

Hi there,

You can use all Shinkansen lines using the JR Pass. Note that you can not use the Nozomi train in the Tokaido Shinkansen line but you can use the Hikari Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo and transfer there to a train bound for Yuzawa.
