question about taveling around Tokyo and to Nikko

Hi,
I have a JR pass and have some.
1) Is Tokyo's Saikyo line included in JR pass (we would like to go from Jujo station to stations on Yamanote line) ?
2) To go to Nikko from Tokyo, is it better to go to Tokyo or Ueno station for using JR Tohoku Shinkansen for Utsunomiya station (then we change to JR Nikko line as I understod from web sites) ? How often do these treains go? When is the last train from Nikko (to connect to JR Nikko and JR Tohoku shinkansen? When I enter Tokyo to Nikko to HyperDia site, it says that it is not all included in JR pass, is that correct?

Hi Igor Paulic,

1.) Yes, the JR Saikyo line is included in the JR Pass.

2.) Firstly, the message in Hyperdia is a general disclaimer and is always there. You can either take the Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo or Ueno station. There is no real difference. The last train depends on what day you travel but would somewhere be around 9-10 o'clock. Using Hyperdia is the best way to find it.
