Sunroute plaza shinjukku to gotemba (return) by bullet train

Hi! I will travel to Tokyo on 17th November. Would like to get some route information on traveling from sunroute plaza to gotemba by experiencing the bullet train. Preferable to return in the evening around 4pm. By the way, is it possible to reach to Mount Fuji by ourselves by any public transport from gotemba as well??

Hi there,

You can use the Shinkansen from Tokyo station to Mishima station, from there local trains run to Gotemba. This route is fully covered by the JR Pass. You can use Hyperdia to find the best route (this depends on what time of day you travel).

There are some busses that go to Kawaguchiko and other places from Gotemba.
