Hello - would you suggest a 14 day JRPass for the following itinerary:

Arrive in Tokyo (1/13) and explore the city for 4 days; 1/17: Shinkasen to Odawara (Hakone); 1/18: Shinkasen to Kyoto; 1/19: Thunderbird Express to Tsugara (Kanazawa); 1/20: Shinkasen back to Tokyo; 1/22: Shinkasen to Nagano; 1/27: train to Matsumoto (fly to Sapporo).

Thank you in advance for your help with our itinerary.

Hello,

The 14-day Nationwide JR Pass would be the most suitable option for your trip. We advise activating the pass on the 14th of January. This pass will ensure convenience by covering all your major Shinkansen and JR train journeys without the need to buy multiple tickets. Please note that a seat reservation is still required for the Shinkansen.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
