Hi,
I'm planning a trip to japan and will be flying into narita airport on 17/9 will be staying in Tokyo for 7 days and traveling around Tokyo having a day trip to mt Fuji, Disney sea, yokohama but mostly staying around Tokyo city. Wanting to take the bullet train to Kyoto 24/9 and stay mostly around Kyoto for a few days then travel to Osaka on 27/9 and fly out of Osaka airport on the 1/10.

can you recommend the JR pass for the whole journey? or would I only need the pass for the latter part of our journey?

I'm also traveling with a group of 12 people do you have a group discount?

thanks

Hi there,

I think using normal rail tickets would be the best option. A Japan Rail Pass would be a good option if you make a return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka. You will be traveling one way with local travel on either wide. That said, the JR Pass could quickly be a good option with a bit of added travel, such as to Himeji and Hiroshima.

For group inquiries, please contact our support team via [email protected] and we'll see what can be done :)

Kind regards,
Daniel
