Hello, I would like to know the best pass options for the following the itinerary:

Tokyo 4 days
Osaka 3 days
Kyoto/Hiroshima 4 days
Tokyo/Ito 4 days

I am thinking it makes the most sense to purchase a 7 day, Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass for the first part of the trip (and return to Tokyo on the back end) and a 5 day, Hiroshima-Yamaguchi Area Pass for the second part of the trip. Is this feasible with the proposed itinerary?

In advance, thank you for your help!

Hi there,

Purchasing those two passes will cover your itinerary, but unless you plan on making day trips out of Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka etc. it is unlikely that you'll need a pass, and would likely be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. That said, if you feel that you are better suited for using a pass e.g. for organisation by all means go for it !

Info on the Hokuriku Arch Pass can be found here, and info on the Hiroshima Pass can be found here. Both links include itinerary recommendations should you wish to include any day-trips in your itinerary.

Hope this helps!

Alexis
