I would like to check what type of JR pass we should buy, my travel plan as follows:
15 to 17 New Chitose to Sapporo (travel to Otaru - day trip)
19 Noboreitsu to Niseko
21 Niseko to Hakodate
24 Hakodate to Sapporo
26 Sapporo to New Chitose

All your travel is within Hokkaido, with that in mind a Hokkaido Rail Pass would work best. Especially for travel to Niseko, Hakodate and back to Sapporo.
