My family (total of 4 adults and 1 teenager) and I have an upcoming trip to Japan and I was hoping you could assist in determining the best train pass selection for us.
We arrive in Tokyo on May 25, 2026 but do not need the train pass until we leave on June 1, 2026.
June 1, 2026, Tokyo to Nikko
While in Nikko:
June 2, 2026, Day trip - bus to Chuzenji-Ko
June 3, 2026, train from Nikko to Kanazawa.
While in Kanazawa, on June 5th, day trip to Suganuma or Takayama.
June 6th, 2026, train from Kanazawa to Kyoto.
While in Kyoto:
June 9th, 2026, Day trip to Arashiyama
Daytrip to Himeji
June 10th, 2026, train from Kyoto to Hiroshima
While in Hiroshima:
On June 11th, Ferry to Miyajima
June 12th, 2026, return to Tokyo
At some point we want to fit in a tour of the Cop O Noodle factory in Osaka.
