Hello there,

Where in Japan will you be arriving and traveling from? I mean before going to Hiroshima.

Knowing this would help me find the best option for you.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi again,

For the full context, can you tell me where you will be arriving (what airport), how many days you spend in each city and so on.

Without having the full details, it will be hard for me to recommend any pass.

Kind regards,
Daniel

We arrive at Haneda airport and than we spent 5 nights in Tokyo. From there we are going with the train from Tokyo station to Odawara. We rent a car from there, becayse we are going to the Japanese alps. And than from kanazawa we wil go to Hiroshima. This is the beginning of our journey by traveling with trains. The rest of our journey is mentioned in my earlier mail.

Hi again,

Thank you for clarifying, most of our customers start their pass in Tokyo or from a major airport. That's why I was wondering about the Kanazawa start.

In terms of a rail pass, a nationwide pass would not help you make savings, as you'd need more than 7 days. In terms of saving money, the best option would be normal tickets between Kanazawa and Kyoto, then use a Kansai - Hiroshima Area Pass for travel to Hiroshima and Miyajima and to Osaka/Kyoto. Then finish with a normal ticket to Tokyo.

Hope you find this useful!
Daniel
