About the Kansai Wide Pass. Is it valid already when traveling from Kiikatsuura to Kyoto? And if it is, is it easy find JR-train for that track? We have planned to take LTD Exp Kuroshio 20 when leaving Kiikatsura morning of 9th of March and then getting in Shin-Osaka Shinkanzen Nozomi 30 train to get to Kyoto. Are those trains Jr-trains and covered by the Kansai Wide Pass?

Hi there,
Yes, this route is included. You can use the Kuroshio to Shin-Osaka, the Shinkansen is not included to Kyoto but you can use the JR Special Rapid service instead. These are almost as fast as the Shinkansen between Osaka and Kyoto.
