Good day

I will be spending 8 days in Kyoto from where I would like to explore with the Sanyo-San'in Area Pass but will then be spending 3 days in Tokyo.

I will have to purchase a separate shinkansen ticket for the Kyoto Tokyo travel but is there a pass that I could use in Tokyo and if there is one, would there be one that would allow a visit to Kumakura and then on final day to Narita Airport?

many thanks

kind regards
Ethel

Hello Ethel,

That's a great idea, the Sanyo-San'in Area Pass is a very underrated pass but provides access to some of the best parts in Japan.

For travel to Tokyo, a normal ticket is recommended here. Locally, you could either buy day passes for the Metro or JR or just use a Suica card.

Kind regards,
Daniel
