We are travelling to Japan in August, arriving in Tokyo. After 2 days in Tokyo we’re travelling down to Hiroshima, for the Toro Nagashi Memorial.
We spend a few days in Hiroshima before travelling back to Kyoto, Mount Koya and to Osaka - about 10days in the Japan JR West Region. Then back to Tokyo for another week.
I have two questions, if I may:
Can you buy a JR Regional West Pass, book a single journey from Tokyo to Hiroshima and the fare of the journey only costs the part of the journey from Tokyo into the West region?
Can you buy consecutive West passes to cover the entire time and journeys in that area?
