I am travelling to (In) Tokyo for 6 days and then will be going to Kyoto on Day 7th, for 7 days. Will return home from Kansai airport. Which JR pass you would recommend? I am looking at Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto, but realized there is Osaka - Tokyo - Hokuriku pass. Can this pass allow me to take Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto? I am confused as the fare title is Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku.

Hello there,
Since you are only going one way, I suggest just buying normal rail tickets. Because, a JR Pass would not help you make savings here. This also applies to regional passes, such as the Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku pass.
Kind regards,
Daniel
