Hi. My flight will arrive at Narita Terminal 1 by 7pm. While JR travel service center close at 7pm, but ticketing office still open until 9.45pm.
Can i exchange my pass at JR ticketing office? Or it has to be at the travel service center? Whats the different?

Hi there,
You can activate the JR Pass at the ticket office, outside the opening hours of the JR East travel centre.
The ticket office (Midori-no-madoguchi) is where you can buy railway tickets and reservations, the Travel centre is more for planning your trip and everything around it.
