I am landing in Osaka from usa. Where can I exchange my voucher for my rail pass?

I want to get a 7 day rail pass that includes the bullet train. I also wanted the pocket wifi --but it looked like I could only activate if I landed in Tokyo.
My itinerary with 2 adults and 2 kids is as follows. any comments would be most welcome--I have never traved to Japan

June 6 Landing in Osaka

June 7 -10 going to kyoto

june 11 going to hiroshima-mijajima should we just stay for the day and go back to kyoto or should we stay overnight and go directly to mt fujii from hiroshima?

june 12 going to mt fujii--is there a train station in hakone?

June 13 going to tokyo

June 15 flying home from Narita

Hi there,

Firstly, please note that you can activate the Pocket Wifi we offer in Kansai International Airport, which is where I assume you'll be landing. More info on activating and purchasing Pocket Wifi can be found on our site, linked above.

I would recommend purchasing a 7-day JR Pass, since you'll be travelling across Japan and will be making use of the shinkansen bullet trains, and it includes the Miyajima ferry as well which is a nice plus.

To answer your question regarding your stay in Hiroshima, it depends on a few things: making it a day would shorten your overall time in Hiroshima/Miyajima, but would make the journey to Fuji shorter. It depends what you want to prioritise out of those two.

Also, there is a station in Hakone, but it is not operated by the JR group and so you'd have to purchase tickets separately to your JR Pass. Info on including Hakone in your itinerary can be found here.
