Hello. We are traveling from Tokyo to Yokohama on 9/29 for a day trip. On 10/2 we are traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto on a bullet train. We returning on 10/7 to Tokyo to fly home. Should I only activate our pass on 9/30? And just pay for the Yokohama trip separately?

Hi there,
If you wish to use your pass until 10/7, you can start using it on 10/1. Once you activate it, you can use it for 7 consecutive days. Individual tickets for your Yokohama day trip can be purchased at JR stations.
