Hello! I am planning to travel to Osaka and have checked the return trip from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo in November 2024.
I noticed that all the available trains on the Tokaido Shinkansen are Nozomi.
Will I need to purchase an additional ticket to return to Tokyo?

Hi there,
If you are right and there are no other services left apart from Nozomi, then yes you’ll need to pay an extra fare with your JR Pass so that you can use the Nozomi service. Please check if this is actually the case as it is highly unlikely.
