I am struggling what to do for my travelling in Japan. I will stay in tokyo, takayama, kyoto osaka, koyasan, Nara and then back to Tokyo. this in a 15 days period.
I will be travelling in july/august.
JR pass or not?

Hello there,
For this route, a 14-day JR Pass would not help you make savings. What you could look at using is a Tokyo-Osaka Hokuriku Arch Pass that covers most of your travel and help you make good savings, but do keep the 7-day travel limit in mind and route back to Tokyo.
Hope this helps!
Daniel

Even not cheaper when travelling during our stays in the different areas?
