My husband and I will go 10 days in Japan in November.
We will spend 3 days in Tokyo but we want to discover Nikko, after we plan to go to Kyoto.
From Kyoto, we will go to Nara, Uji and Osaka.
We come back to Tokyo and we want to see Fuji and Hakone for 1 day.
Do the JR PASS worth for our journey? is it better to book tickets train without JR Pass?
I'm on a wheelchair, is it easy to book ticket train for disabled person?
Thanks a lot

Hello there,

That's a really nice and active trip around Japan! In the old days, the JR Pass would have been amazing value on this trip but since the price increase, you'd likely break even and would have to use the pass for both the Shinkansen to Nikko, Kyoto, Osaka and back to Tokyo. You could still consider the pass, as it comes with a some convenience of not having to pay for tickets each trip.

Japan is build with acceptability in mind - especially the major cities and stations and you can always request assistance as needed. I do not think you'll have any issues booking tickets but perhaps do it a day or so earlier than normal and you can be sure of having the more comfortable seats.

Kind regards,
Daniel
