Hi,
I will visit soon Japan with my Husband and my 5 years old twins. I am planning to by 7 days JR pass to go to Kyoto.
We will stay 3 days in Kyoto then come back to Tokyo.
Can we use the JR pass in Tokyo as well or it is just for Shinkansen?

Hi there,
The JR Pass can be used on the local JR network around Tokyo too. As well as any other JR lines nationwide, that does include all bullet train lines too.
