My fakily and I will be travelling to Japan and going to the following cities and will be bringing Large size Luggage. Do we need to book our luggage in advance if we use JR Sanyo-Sanjn Area Pass?

Hi there,
Yes, if it is real over sized luggage (not just a suitcase) then it is highly recommended to book it ahead of time. If you can fit them in the overhead compartments of the train then no reservation is needed.
