We are planing to visit Japan from US. Three people with 4 pieces of luggages: 3 of 21” and one 25”. Want to take train from Tokyo to Kyoto and back to Tokyo. Is there enough space on the train to fit all our luggages?
Another question: can we leave luggage in Tokyo hotel for 4 days and pick up when we are back from Kyoto?

Yes, that should be fine.
Many hotels will allow you to leave your luggage, assuming you have a reservation later.
Still, you may want to check with the hotel ahead of time.
Tokyo Station also has a cloakroom, where luggage can be left up to 14 days (paid by the day).
