Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo - Morioka - Hakodate - Osaka
I thinking to use JR Pass - 7 days from Tokyo to Osaka.
Is it possible to book and reserve time slot and seats for Shinkansen for my itinerary.
As i have kids, i feel more secured, with train confirmed time and boarding.
And my stop in Morioka - my purpose is to see the E5 and E6 join/split - how do i know the timing.
Please advise.

You can use Apps like Navitime to see time schedules and those covered by the JR Pass. Of course you can ask the JR staff at any station too :)
