Hi... I am planning a trip for a family of 4 (all above 12 yo) over 14 days. Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kobe, Tokyo.
Which pass should I use?
And does your pass apply to all train services? Bullet and commuter train?

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in reply, just so many questions right now about Japan :)

It depends on the exact timings but both a 7-day JR Pass and 14-day JR Pass will help you make savings here.

The JR Pass includes all JR Lines, including the high speed Shinkansen lines. Note that some train services are not included, this is mostly the Nozomi train but you can use the Hikari Train on the same route instead.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
