Arrive to Tokyo on 23 April in the afternoon.
Intend to arrive to Kyoto on the same evening, directly from Narita terminal 1.
Stay at Kyoto till 27 April, then go to Osaka till 29 April.
From these cities intend to visit Nara, Kobe and maybe one more town in this area.
On 29 April return to Tokyo and stay there till 4 May, and Fly Back from Narita.
1. Is the JR Pass a good solution for our rides between 23 April to 29 April
2. Does it cover all the rides including from Narita airport ?
3. Is there a direct train from Narita to Kyoto ?
4. After buying the Jr pass, how do I book train tickets with it ?
5. Is the Pass sold only on hard paper or is there also a digital pass ?
6. Is there any good solution for public transportation for the stay in Tokyo between 29 April
To 4 May including the train from Tokyo center to Narita airport ?

questions regarding the use of the Pass
Hi there,
1.) Yes, assuming you use the JR Pass to cover the return Narita - Tokyo - Osaka & back to Narita Airport.
2.) Yes
3.) No, you first take the Narita Express to Tokyo station and from there use the Hikari Shinkansen to Kyoto station.

5.) The JR Pass is a physical ticket.
6.) It depends where you want to go, there are different options available. Such as a day ticket to use on the metro. The JR Pass also covers the local JR network around Tokyo.

1. Is it possible to move between the carriages with non reserved seats ?
2. Is the line Tokyo to Kyoto included in the East Japan Railway company ?
If positive, will I be able to purchase this tickets in the internet, before my arrival to Japan, after buying the JRPass ?
3. Can you tell me the meaning of :
a. Midori no Mado Guchi ticket offices
b. the Midori no Mado Guchi
