Hi there!

I will be traveling to Japan for 8 days.

Will be touching down at Hiroshima and will go straight to Kyoto then to Osaka then to Nara and finally back to Hiroshima on my 6th day. Just wondering if i should get the 7-day JR pass or a combination of the regional pass + normal passes..

Can someone pls advise?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi there,

I recommend using a Sanyo-San'in Area Pass.. This is the better option as it covers the route Hiroshima - Kyoto/Osaka/Nara and back to Hiroshima. It is also valid for 7 days and thus covers all your travel.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
