Travel in December

The 180 days rule is due to the upcoming price change for the JR Pass, we won't be able to issue passes at the old price starting October. So all orders placed before then will have to be issued before the date.

Therefore, if I'm travelling on 4 Dec 2023, I have 2 ways:

1. Place the order now > Select travel date as 30 Nov > Pay the original price > Dispatch date: 11 Sep, clock starts ticking > Exchange order arrives on 13 Sep (11 Sep-10 Dec is 90 days, therefore I can activate this exchange order on 4 Dec with no issue)

2. Place the order around 20 September > Pay original price > Dispatch date: 21 Sep, clock start ticking > Exchange order arrives on 23 Sep (21 Sep-22 Dec is within my actual travel date)

Am I getting this correct?
