Japan rail pass Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo

Hi Lee,

For me to find the best travel ticket, could you tell me if you are making a return Osaka - Tokyo or traveling just one way?
This makes a great difference in ticket prices.

There are various day passes available in Tokyo, my favorite is the Tokyo Metro One Day Pass which is 710yen (childeren below 12 are 360) and allow for unlimited travel on a single day (counted from midnight to midnight).

How are you ? a bit late to reply & update it.
I will arrive in
1. Osaka on 31st -Mar-14 till 3rd-April -14 . 3days & we will travel by train to Kyoto on 3rd-April-14
2. Kyoto on 3rd-April-14till 5th-April-14 . 3days & we will travel by train to Tokyo on 5th -April 14
3. Tokyo on 5th-april-14 till 10th-April-14. 5days & back to Bangkok
What kind of tickets ? we should buy it .

Hi Yodsawat,

I would recommend buying normal tickets for your travel. Travel costs between Osaka and Kyoto are low (540yen one way) and a JR Pass would not pay for a one way ticket Kyoto - Tokyo.
