Best travel option for trip

Good day.

We will be visiting Japan in October 2023 for 16 days.

During the trip the most extensive travel will be from Kyoto to Kinosaki onsen for 2 nights then to Tokyo.

What are the most cost effective ticket options for this travel route?

Hi JPBRON,

I would look at using a JR West KANSAI WIDE area Pass for travel between Kyoto and Kinosaki Onsen.

Then a one way (normal) ticket to Tokyo.

For Tokyo 14-18 October,
14 Oct: from Haneda Airport to Ginza hotel
14-18 local Tokyo sightseeing,
16 Oct 1 day trip to Kawagoe,
18 Oct Ginza hotel to Haneda Airport.
Is there a JR pass that will work for that travel segment?
