Information on JR pass for my Trip as well as JR Price increase

I'm trying to find out info on if we can buy the pass before the October increase and if it will be worth getting the JR Pass.

I noticed in some other posts about you guys not yet knowing the full details which I understand but any help would be great.

We have a trip booked arriving on the 11th of January 2024 and leaving on the 25th for our 16 day/14 night honeymoon.
I was hoping to buy the x2 14 day JR Pass at the end of September 2023 for the trip in January to try and avoid the absolutely crazy price increase.

We will be arriving in;
Tokyo on the 11th Jan for 5 nights, then will need to get the Shinkansen to Hiroshima.
Hiroshima on 16th Jan for 2 nights, then a Shinkansen to Kyoto.
Kyoto on the 18th Jan for 3 nights, then a Shinkansen or other train? to Osaka
Osaka on the 21st Jan for 4 nights, then flying back home from Osaka airport on the 25th Jan.

I'm guessing for this sort of trip using the Shinkansen plenty as well as needing to get to and from the Airports in Tokyo and Osaka not to mention the Rail and Buses we will be taking within the 4 cities, that it would a no brainer to get the JR Pass? The other question is if it doubles in price is it still going to be worth buying?
