Hi,
We will be travelling from
Narita airport to Osaka
Osaka to Hiroshima
Hiroshima to Osaka
Osaka to Kyoto
Kyoto to Osaka
Osaka to Kobe
Kobe to Osaka
Osaka to Tokyo
Tokyo to Fuji
Fuji to Tokyo
Tokyo to Narita airport
over 16 days.
I am thinking about getting the 14 day pass but am having trouble getting the prices of individual trips. Is it worth getting the 14 days pass ansd then just pay for the final trip back to Narita on our last day.

That's a lot of fun travel! Could you let me know how many days you will spend in Hiroshima, Kyoto and Tokyo?

This would help me find the best option.

Hello Daniel-san,
Our trips to Hiroshema, Kyoto and Kobe will only be day trips. We are going to be based in Osaka for 8 days and then Shinjuku for 8 days.

Hi Pauline,

In terms of a railpass, normal tickets would cost less than a 14-day Japan Rail Pass on your trip. You can however make savings, using a Kansai - Hiroshima Area Pass when used to travel from Osaka - Hiroshima and back. This pass is one of the best value options out there and includes the Nozomi between Osaka and Hiroshima.
