Hi there!

I would recommend going for a 7 Day JR Pass and use it from travel to Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka and the return to Tokyo (plus maybe to day trip to Nara or Hiroshima to get the most out of your pass). The 7 day pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Osaka and definitely worth it with your extra planned travel. If you really want to make the most out of your pass, consider a visit to Hiroshima, you could for instance visit the Peace Memorial Park/Museum or make a visit to Miyajima, one of the most iconic places in Japan.. A normal return from Osaka to Hiroshima is about 20,000yen so you'd make great savings!

For the rest, consider buying a [Suica + Narita Express] package for easy travel on the days when you won't be using your JR Pass.

Hope this helps!
Daniel

Hi ! Thanks for the lovely advice and information.
Since I have 2 weeks to travel in Japan ( early April to mid April this year )
Do u have any suggested itinerary to maximize my 2 weeks touring in Japan with my JR pass?
At the moment I only know places such as Tokyo -Hakone-Kyoto-Osaka-Tokyo( Disneyland)
Can I know roughly how many days I should allocate to cover each place?
I will be reaching Narita on 3 April and depart on 16 April from Narita back to hometown.
Thank you very much !
Your advice and information is highly appreciated

Hi there , one more question for the itinerary .
On the last 2 days of travel I plan to go Disneyland/Disneysea.
I Will be going to disneyland first ( then staying at Disneyland resort for a night & The next day to disneysea . After that where is the recommended place to stay for the night as next day early morning I'm flying back hometown from Narita .
Please advice :)
Thanks !

Hi there,

In that case consider a night stop downtown in Tokyo near one of the big stations so you can take the Narita Express in the morning. It is also possible to travel to Narita City and stay the night there to skip some travel time the next morning.

Or you could stay near the Disney resort and take a limousine bus to Narita Airport the following morning.

All options work!
