Assistance Needed to Modify JR Pass Dates and Duration

Hello,

I recently purchased two JR Passes but made an error when selecting the duration & start date. I mistakenly chose a 14-day pass starting from 14th February 2025; instead of the 21-day pass starting from 15th February 2025. I am now looking for guidance on how to correct this mistake.

Can you advise if it’s possible to modify the existing pass to reflect the correct dates and duration; if I would need to cancel the current passes and purchase new ones? I would prefer to avoid canceling if possible, as my travel plans are quite specific. I have checked https://www.jrpass.com/forum/regional-passes/posts Azure reference guide but still need advice .

I am planning a 21-day trip to Japan starting from 15th February 2025 & having the correct JR Pass is crucial for my itinerary. Any help on how to resolve this issue quickly would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately there’s not much we can directly do here on the forum. Our office will be closed for Christmas but the good thing is that we have plenty of time to sort this so no need to worry.
