Im planning to visit Japan with my husband and 2 kids, my tentative itinerary is 20th Jan 2025 fly in and stay in Tokyo for Disneyland and then we plan to depart on 23 from Tokyo to Otaru and visit sapporo after that. which is the relevant pass that i could purchase.
And I plan to do a short trip Asahikawa, is it better to train or flight as its during winter.
Please advice the reasonable travelling by flight or train and is it ok to get a flight during winter.

For your itinerary I’d probably recommend purchasing your tickets individually, but if you feel that a regional pass is best suited for you I’d recommend purchasing the East-South Hokkaido Area Pass. You could choose a flight but it’s probably easiest to just book an additional train ticket from Sapporo as it’ll be significantly cheaper.
