Shin Osaka to JR Namba

Hi there,

The best way to travel from Shin-Oaska - JR Namba is to take a local train from Shin-Osaka to Tennoji station. Here you can transfer to the JR Yamatoji Line Local bound for JR namba.

The JR Pass covers the entire route.

You've got two options with the JR from Osaka. Take a local train to either Shin-Imamiya or Tennoji and transfer there to a local service to JR-Namba. Or take the subway directly from Osaka station. Note that the subway is not covered by the JR Pass.
