Hi there,

I believe the best option for you is to purchase a 7-day JR Pass that will cover your travel from Nagasaki back to Tokyo via Hiroshima/Osaka, as you'll pretty much be solely using the Shinkansen bullet trains making it a cost-effective option for you.

In terms of travel ideas in Osaka/Tokyo, I will link some of our blog posts below, as they go into detail covering itinerary locations and how to access them.

The page for Tokyo can be found here, and the page for Osaka here. Because you'll be visiting in springtime, it's worth looking at the posts detailing the best places to visit to see the Sakura cherry blossom trees, as it is a very popular tourist attraction.

Kind regards,

Alexis
