Hi there,
We are arriving at Narita Airport at 16:30, we will activate the JR pass at the airport. Can we take the bullet train from the airport to Osaka? Or do I have to go to Tokyo station first then take the bullet train to Osaka. Do you know if I’ll have enough time to get to Osaka? Is there a time cut off for the trains within the city? Thank you!

Hi there,

The last train connection possible to Osaka with the JR Pass departs around 18.48 at Narita Airport.

You should have enough time to make the connection but don't take too long on the airport. You would first take the Narita Express to Tokyo and then the Shinkansen to Shin-Osaka station.
