Japan is host to the Rugby World Cup 2019. It’s the first time that the Rugby World Cup is hosted in Asia and what country better than Japan? The sport has been around in Japan for over a century and boasts a strong national base with over 3,600 official rugby clubs. The Rugby World Cup 2019 will be an exciting time for both national and international fans.

RWC 2019 in numbers:

There will be 20 participating teams, in 48 matches, played in 12 venues across Japan, from Sapporo in the north to Kumamoto in the south. Taking about a month with the first match to take place on the 20th September (Fri) in the Tokyo Stadium and the final will commence on the 2nd November (Sat) in Yokohama Stadium.
