I have been trying to get a hold of someone to tell me how to change my start dates from what I have on my ticket does anyone know how?

Hi there,
Would this be the exchange voucher you are talking about or the Japan Rail Pass (that you already exchanged in Japan)?
In the first case, it does not matter, you can exchange your voucher at any date within 3 months after purchase.
In the 2nd case, it is not possible to change the date once exchanged.
