Better to buy JR pass or separate tickets for our itinerary?

We would use the JR pass to go from Narita airport to Tokyo Station hotel and for the Shinkansen train from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station. Is it better to buy the JR pass or separate tickets for this itinerary?

Hi there,

Probably better to purchase your tickets separately, unless you plan on including smaller trips and destinations around Tokyo and Kyoto.
