I can buy a JR ticket from a supplier in my country.
I was told that the card is valid 3 months ahead and from the time of use it is counted 7 days.
Can reservations for train seats be booked online before arriving in Japan?
Can I get to a ticket station in Japan and order seats for a few more days when I want to start traveling?

Hi there,

You can reserve seats at any station in Japan once you have activated the pass. This can be before you do any travel.
