Can I buy the Japan Rail Pass in Japan?

Hi,

I am travelling on 26/06/2023 midday from Melbourne to Osaka-Kansai airport. My final destination is Kobe. I would like to purchase the JR pass, however, by the time it arrives to my address in Australia, I will be already in Japan. What is the difference in prices by purchasing online than in Japan.
In the case I purchase it from Australia (today 25/06/2023), can I change the delivery address to the place I will be staying in Kobe, Japan?

Hi there,

Yes, all these options are possible. We could deliver to your accommodation in Japan, or you can buy the pass upon arrival.

Kind regards,
Daniel
