Aloha, I arrive Narita 3 Feb in the evening and overnighting in Narita, plan to activate rail pass on the 4th in the morning, have made online reservations for shinkansen to Sapporo for the 4th and will pickup tickets at Narita on the 3rd upon arrival. Question is can I pickup tickets even if I have not activated rail pass yet.

It is possible to reserve some JR East and JR Hokkaido trains via:
https://www.eki-net.com/pc/jreast-shinkansen-reservation/English/wb/common/Menu/Menu.aspx
As this service is offered by JR East, we can't provide direct support for it.
