Purchase Jr pass

I will be on a 13 day trip to Japan - 6 days in Tokyo, 4 days in Kyoto, 3 days in Osaka and finally returning to Tokyo - and I don't know if purchasing a JR pass for 14 days is worth it at the expense of purchasing individual trips. Could you help me?

If you are travelling Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka-Tokyo within a week, a 7-day JR Pass is the most cost-effective way to cover the long-distance travel. For different itineraries:

  • Longer Trips: Consider a Tokyo-Osaka return ticket or a combination of individual tickets.
  • Regional Travel: Look into regional passes like the Kansai Area Pass for cost savings within specific areas.
