Purchasing one-way rail passes to Hiroshima/Kyoto/Takayama/Kanazawa/Tokyo/Kamakura

Hi,

I will visit Japan in Nov. Since I will stay 2-4 nights in each of the locations below, can I purchase the rail passes when I arrive to each city (to keep the flexibility during travel), or it is better to purchase online in advance?

Hiroshima/Kyoto/Takayama/Kanazawa/Tokyo/Kamakura

Hi there,

The JR Pass is no longer sold in Japan, I therefor recommend buying your JR Pass in advance.

With this trip, a 7 day pass will be a great fit.
