Renting Car in Hokkaido

Sorry, I have little experience renting cars in Japan. Simply, because the rail system is so good that often it does not make sense to get a car, at least for me personally.

JR does have a car rental service and you can get a small discount when using a JR Pass, they are also always often conveniently located at the train station.
